CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS <br />REGULAR MEEi'ING HELD AT TNE CITY HALL AUGUST 1, 1961 <br />The meeting was called to order at 7:50 p.m. <br />Members present: Edward Byers, Willsam Greene, Wsllard Klinite, and htarvin Smith <br />Members absent: Lloyd Morgan <br />A1so present: Erne5t J. Gundy, Building Commissioner <br />The minutes of the last meet6ng of July 5 were approved as writteno <br />1. Appellant: H. 4d., Niemeir - 5528 McKenzie Road <br />North Olmsted, Ohio <br />The appellant requested permission to enclose an existing porch which would bring <br />the house 8 feet from the garage. The appellant presented a letter from the <br />neighbor to the south (Vernon Friend, 5536 McKenzie Road) stating that he has no <br />objections to the variancem <br />It was moved by Mr. Byers and seconded by Mr. Smith that the variance be granted <br />with the provision that the appeliant provide for a fire wall on the side of the <br />porch that is within 10 feet of the garage. The motion was unanimously approved. <br />2. Appellante Howard Clossen - 3672 West 230 Street <br />North Otmsted, Ohio <br />The appellant requested permission to elevate an existing 4-foot, solid fence by <br />one more foot, making the fence 5 feet higha The apploc?atoon was wothdrawn until <br />the appellant consults with his neighbors to determine wnether or not there would <br />be any objections to a variance of this nature. <br />3. Appellant: David S. Boddutiph - 5115 Lucydale Avenue <br />North Olmsted, Ohio <br />The appellant requested permission to erect a twoRcar detached garage which would <br />bring the garage within 98 inches of the side and rear lot linese Mre Gundy <br />suggested a revision of the appellant's plans which would make the garage 36 inches <br />from the rear lot Dine and 30 inches from the side lot lineo <br />It was moved by Mre Byers and seconded by Mr. Greene that the variance be granted <br />as revised by the Buil'ding Commissionerq The motion was unanimously approved. <br />The meeting was adjourned at 9 p.m. <br />/ r <br />Willard K inite, Chairman L oyd M gan, retary
