These minutes are not official until approved at Planning Comnission Nleeting of October <br />g, 1962. <br />MINfTTES OF A MEETING OI{' THE PLANNING CONIMISSION <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED - SEPTLfiOER 25, 1962 <br />The meeting tras called to order-at 8: 35 P.M. by I%ir. Ford, 9cting Chairman. <br />`!he reading of the minutes was dispensed with. <br />Present: Donald Ford, Thomas Stack, Anthony T. LaPonza, Leslie B. NTacs. <br />Absent: Ballard W. Vincent, Richard C. Mongello, Joseph P. Kadylak. <br />Also Present: Ernest J. Gundy, Building Commissioner; George Schaaf, Law Director; <br />Alex Kanareff, City Elngineer. <br />HYDE PARK LSTATES SUBDIVISION <br />Mr. Don Elewski, representing Southwestern Construction, Inc., came before the Commission <br />with a proposal for a subdivision con5isting of 16 sublots located on Columbia Road <br />between ]3rookpark and Mastick Roads. Homes in this subdivision would be in the $27,000. <br />to $30,000. price range. Discussion ensued relative to the problems involved in this <br />subdizrision and it was moved by Mr. Sta,ck, seconded by Mr. Macs, to z•eject this sub- <br />division in its present form because the size of the lots does not conform to the zoning <br />in that area. YEAS Stack, Macs, Ford, LaPonza. <br />BEVERLY HILLS SIIBDIVISION LXTLNSION PROPOSED <br />Mr. Joe Bauer re-presented the proposed Beverly Hills Subdivision er.tension for further <br />consideration by the Commission. Discussion ensued relative to this proposal and it <br />was moved by Mr. LaPonza, seconded by Mr. Macs, to refer this to commit-l;ee for further <br />study and will let Mr. Bauer know what their decision will be at the next meeting. YEAS <br />LaPonza, Macs, Stack, Ford. <br />xIIMu <br />Mr. Kanareff re-presented the plans for this subdivision located on West 230t}a Street. <br />Discussion ensued relative to this proposal with the City Engineer and it was moved by <br />Mr. LaPonza, seconded by Pdr. Macs, to accept this proposed subclivision with the extra <br />8 lots. YtIUS LaPonza, Macs, Ford, Stack. <br />PHIL ENGOGLIA - NNRSING HONIF <br />This matter was referred to committee until the next regular meeting because all of the <br />members were not present at this meetinb. <br />OLIyISTED HEIGHTS DEVELOPI?DOT, IIIC. <br />This proposal for development was referred to Mr. Kanareff for study, and to relport his <br />findings to the Commission at their next regu.lar meeting. <br />It was requested by Mr. NIangani that the Commission ha,ve a joint meeting with Council <br />on 4dednesday, October 3, at 7:30 P.M. for the purposes of working on the platting <br />ordinance. <br />It was moved by Mr. Macs, seconded by 1lZr.
