<br />CITY OF NORTH OLMM3TED - FEBRUARY 12, 1963,
<br />Present: Ballard W. Vincent, Anthony T. LaPonza, Joseph P. Kadylakg Thomas Stack,
<br />Leslie B. Macs, Richard C. Mongello.
<br />Absent: Dor_ald T. Ford.
<br />Also Present: Carl Andreano, Engineer; and Lrnest J. Gundy, Building Commissioner.
<br />The meeting was called to order at 8:15 P.AI.
<br />The minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved as read.

<br />Mr. DiBenedetto re-presented his plan for a subdivision on the Southwest corr_er of Walter
<br />and liaple Ridoe Road asking for approval of a plan sho??ring 4 sublots instead of 5. Dis-
<br />cussion ensued and it was moved by Mr. Kadylak, seconded by Ptr. Stack, to approve this
<br />subdivisiozz as presented. YEAS Kaydlak, Stack, Vincent, Macs, LaPonza, Mongello.

<br />14r, Phil Elnglish and Mr. John Thomson presented to the Commission a proposal for a 250
<br />unit apartment development located on Zorain Hoad where the Par 3 golf course is now
<br />located. This would cover approximately 14 to 15 acres and would be garden type apart-
<br />ments. Discussion ensued relative to this proposal and it was moved by Mr. LaPonza,
<br />seconded by Mr. Mongello, to put this into committee for furtYier study on the drainage
<br />problem. YEAS LaPonza, Mongello, Vincerit, Macs9 Staek, Kadylak. Mr. Walter Ries, of
<br />Canterbury Road, t+ras present at the meeting and stated that he had spoken iaith some of
<br />the other residents of this area and they seemed to q2 in favor of this proposal. Mr.
<br />Lnglish was advised by the Commission that he should get petitions from the residents
<br />to this effecte

<br />Mr. Ma,dow presented to the Commission -the preliminary plat plan for the continuation of
<br />Deerfield i'states Subdivision No. 2 consisting of 28 sublotsa Discussion ens.ued and it
<br />was moved by Idrm Macs, seconded by Yir. LaPonza, to aecept the preliminary plan as pre-
<br />sented, and show on the linen drawing a swal.e "no ditch" type of storm drainage for the
<br />rear storm draiilage easement. YEAS Macs, LaPonza, Mon.-ello, Kadylak, Vincent, Stack.
<br />Improvement drawings were presented by Mr. Andreano for this subdivision. Discussion
<br />ensued relative to these plans a-nd it VTas moved by P1r. LaPonza, seconded by D'Lr. Macs, to
<br />approve these inproveraent drawings on the recommendation of the City Engineer. YEAS
<br />LaPonza, Niacs, Stack, Vincent, Mongello, Kadylak. Mr. Madow stated that he would be
<br />willi:ng to fence this ditch properly within the boundaries of his owm land.
<br />It was moved by Mr. Tlongello, seconded by Mr. LaPonza, that a lette-r be drat•m up to the
<br />Service Director requesting that he investigate the lighting in the area of Lorain Road
