These minutes are not official until approved at Planning Coznmission <br />Meeting of September 10, 1963. <br />1v1INUTES OF A DIEETIt1G OF THE PLP:NNING COWSSSION <br />CT^1Y OF NORTH OLMSTED - JULY 239 1963 <br />The meeting was caller to order at $;20 P.M. <br />Present : Ballard VJ. Vincent, Leslie B. Macs, Rnthony T. LaPonza, Donald <br />Fo-rc?, Richard 14ongello and Thomas Stack. <br />Absent: Joseph P. Kactylak. <br />Also Present: George Schaaf, Solicitor; Alex Kanareffy City Engineer; <br />Henry Caster- and Alex Mangani, Councilmen e <br />The minutes of the previous meeting were dispensed with. <br />UALDOtS SUBDIVISION <br />Improvement_ plans were presented for this subclivision by Mr. Andreano. <br />Discussion ensued relative to these plans and upon the recommendat°on of <br />the City Engineer it was movEd by Mr. Macs, seconded by R'1r. Ford, to <br />approve these improvenient clrawings showing fire hydrants, tree planting, <br />etc. as presented. YEAS Dlacs, Ford, LaPonza, Vincent, Mongello, Stack. <br />ACCOCELLA <br />Mr. Alexander was presenterepresenting Mr. Accocella in regarc to the <br />strip of land behind the Kroger store on Cla.gue Road. Discussion ensued <br />and it was moved by Mr a Mongello, seconded by Mr. StacIt, to approve this <br />plot plan{:and that it will be forwarded to the Building Commissioner for <br />action. YEAS Mongello, Stack, Vincent, Ford, LaPonza, Macs. <br />SAKS & GOLDBEN.G - NCR TH OLDZSTEU APARTMENTS <br />Mr. Saks 8c Mr. Goldberg yaere presentadgain with their proposed apartment <br />development on the Southurest corner of Columbia and Brookpark RGads con- <br />sisting of 20$ suites. Discussion ensued relative to this proposal and <br />it ivas noved by Mr. Macs, seconded by Mr. LaPonza, to approve this con- <br />tingent upon the submission of a new draving shoiving the revising of <br />street and also the resertration of an area for a future street as indi- <br />cated on drawing no. A1. They shall also submit as per our mixed use <br />zoning requirements necessary setbacrs, side yard requirements, traffic <br />pattern, traffic count and land_scape plans and elevat;.ons, and also to be <br />shotitiTn the nLunber of 1, 2, ana 3 bedroom suites, anc all other requirements <br />of the Zoning Ordinance. YEAS Macs, LaPonza, MOngello, Vincent, Stack. <br />Mr. Fora abstained from votingi. <br />PHIL ENGOGLIA <br />Mr. Engoglia came before the Commissiori requesting rezoning of the forrner <br />Foreman property, 27422 Lorain Road, for high rise apartment d.evelopment. <br />He was proposing $ story buildings and approximately 615 suites. It 7fras <br />put into committee for further study. <br />?,1ESTUp OD ALLOT1?TdT <br />Mr. u}TicY, representing Slabe 8c McKay, developers, in regard to the Rostislau <br />Sedivec parcel, subiot 56 on Silverdale Road, wa.th a proposal to subd.ivide <br />sublot 56 into two sublots tr?rith 54.30 frontage each.
