CITY OF NORTH OLYiSTE-D - BOARD OF ZQNING.APPF.AJLS <br />RErULAR MEETiNG HELD AT THE CITY HALL -OCTOBER 137 1964 <br />. Meeting called to order at 7:40 p.m. <br />Members present: hiessrs. Byers, Greene, Klinite, Schaaf, Mrs. Eian. <br />fl.lso present: Mr. Gundy, Building Commissioner <br />Others as listed under appellants <br />Nlinutes of the September meeting were not reviewed because of the fu11 <br />agenda. <br />1. Appellanto Mrs. Rose Pangrac, 4882 Grace Avenue, North Olmsteds <br />Ref :Request to erect a five-foot high basket weave f ence al,ong the <br />Broakpark Road side of her property, which is immediately sauth <br />of Brookpark Road, and partially along the back of her property. <br />Zoning Ordinance 62-33, Section 1151004 (H) restricts the <br />height of fences to four feet. <br />Mrs. Fangrac produced letters f rom neighbors Robert Applegate and <br />Alvin Beduhn giving their approval to the proposed fence. Mr. <br />Applegate owns property across the street f rflm the Pangrac property, <br />and N1r. Beduhn owms property north of the Pangrac home. Mrs. Mary <br />Reznik appeared to add her approval. <br />Mro Schaa£ moved to g rant the variamce. Nlr. Greene seconded. The <br />Ovote was unanimousv 2. Appellant: Mr. R. E. Johnson, 5175 Porter I2oad., North Olmsted. <br /> <br />Ref : Request to erect a detached garage which would be within two <br />feet of rear lot line, adjacent to r etail pronerty. Zoning <br />Ordinance 62-33, Section 1151.04 (C) stipulates f ive feet as <br />distance from property line. <br />Nirs. Johnson represented lier husband. Mr. Gundy comment ed favorably <br />on the application. No cbjections were raised. <br />Mr. Klinite,moved to grant the variance. Mr. Schaaf seconded. Vote <br />was unanimous. <br />3. Appellant: N3r. Lester Faubei, 24020 Elm I2oad, North Olmsted. <br />Ref : Rehearing of reguest for a side l.ine variance in the issuing <br />of a permit to extend the length of his garage, which currently <br />rests virtually on the property line. Zoning Ordinance 62-33, <br />Chapter 1161, sub-cnapter 1161.01, restricts minimum side yard <br />widths. <br />Messrs. Faubel and Humphreys appearede mr. Klinite indicated he had <br />ruade a persona2 visit to the property in question. hir. George Upp, <br />an adjacent neighbor, voiced his objections, as he had done at the <br />- August Board Meeting. Mr. Joseph 4alalter, 5640 Columbia load, owner <br />of the prol erty west of the Faubel property, indicated no objections <br />to the request. Mr. Klinite recognized the case as a non-con:forming <br />use, a.nd indicated he f elt fihe variance should be gra.nted. Mr. Schaaf
