Ihese minutes sre not official until approved at Planning Commission Meeting of January <br />28, 1964. <br />b1INIITES OF A MEETING- OF THE PI;ANNING C0I4NII3SION <br />CITY OF NOFtTH OLMSTED - JANtTABY 14, 1964 <br />The meeting was called to order at 8;10 P.M. by Chairman Vincent. <br />The minutes of the previous meetirig were read and approvede <br />Preeent: Ballard W. Vincent, Leslie B. Macs, Anthony T. ZaPonza, Joseph P. gad.ylak, Donald <br />T. Ford. and James Prokasy. ? <br />It was uaanimously decided to write a letter of thaanks to Mr. Mangello for his valuable <br />eereices rendered the Commission by him during hia tenure of office. <br />SAUZ BISBIND <br />Mr. Andreano repreeented to the Comnission the proposed subdivision of 175 subloto located <br />between Steaxns and Barton Roads f or rezoning From 80 foot lots to 70 foot lote. Mr. Biakind <br />was present to expx°ess hie views on thia matter and atated that he wonld he of the opinioa <br />that this 70 foot rezoning aho-dld be extended to the industrial area. He a19o stated that <br />he would be willing to provide for a recreatianal area 3:n the parcel. Mr. Mace was of the <br />opinion that thie should be rezonedm Mrv Kadylak objected to the rezoning. Mr. Biskind <br />was advised that the Commission cvould meet with a committee of Couneil and have a diapo- <br />sition of this ma,tter at the next meeting. <br />C. Oe FISHER - NORTH PABR ESTATFS SUBDIPISION NOo 2 <br />Mr. Andreano presented a plan for North Park Estatea Subdiviaion No. 2 consisting af 76 <br />additional sublots. It was moved by Mr. LaPonza, seconded by Mr. Ford, to put this into <br />committee for further atudyo YEAS LaPonza, Ford, Zadylak, Macs, Vincent, Prokasy. <br />GEORGE L. WELSCH SUBDIVISION N0. ]. (gormer Rinyu Subdivision) <br />Mr. Andreano re-presented this subdivision located off Alexander 8oad (Viest 230th Street), <br />formerly known aa the Einyu Subdivision. Discussion ensued and it was moved by Mr. I,aPonza, <br />seconded by Mr. Macs, to put this into committee for further study. The Commission also <br />requested Mr. Welsch9s preeence at the next meeting. YEAS LaPonza, Ma.ca, Ford, Vincent, <br />Kadylak, Prokasyo <br />BILL HARRIS <br />A request wae made on beha.lf of Mr. Harris to haBe the area in question used for parking <br />or a recreational area. No action was taken on thia as the Commission would like Mr. Harris <br />to present this himself. <br />With no other business before the Conmission, the membera decided to elect ite new officerse <br />The following were unanimously electedt <br />Chairman Zeslia B. Mace <br />Vice-Chairman Donald T. Ford <br />Secretary Anthon3r T. LaPonza <br />It wae moved by Mr. Vincent, seconded by Mr. Prokasy, to have the Safety Director, Police <br />Chief and Fire Chief present at the Planning Commission meetings and to have their names <br />appear on all preliminary plana approved. YEAS Vincent, Prokasy, Macs, I,aPonza, Ford, <br />Kadylak. It was also unanimously approved to procure a new stamp with theae people shovm <br />in order of prorocal. ? <br />Mr. Maca then took over the chair and asked Mx°.
