<br />MINUTES OF A MEETING OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION
<br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED - MAY 12, 1964
<br />The meeting was called to order at 8:10 P.M. by Chairman Macs.
<br />The minutes of April 28 were read by Secretary LaPonza and approved.
<br />Presentd Chairman Leslie B. Macs, Vice-Chairman Donald Ford, Secretary Anthony T. LaPonza,
<br />and members Jack Foltz, Ballard W. Vincent, and James Prokasy.
<br />Absent: Joseph P. Kadylak,
<br />Also Present: Bruce Kitchen, Law Director; Richard Labas, City Engineer; and Councilman
<br />West,
<br />Correspondence
<br />A communication was read from the Clerk of Council regarding the proposed 50 foot minimum
<br />setback on Lorain Road and it was recommended by Mr. Ford that the proposed amendment to
<br />Mayor Christman*s request for Lorain Road setbacks be sent to the Mayor in a letter from
<br />the minutes of April 14.
<br />A letter was read from the Clerk of Council enclosing copies of Ordinance 64-94 and each
<br />member was presented with a copy and were advised of the amendments by Mr. K?tchen. It was
<br />ved by Mr. Ford, seconded by Mr. Vincent, to approve these amendments as written. YEAS
<br />ord, Vincent, LaPonza, Macs, Foltz, Prokasy, This was the high rise ordinance.
<br />A?communication was read from the Clerk of Council in regard to Ordinance 64-95, the Platting ?
<br />Ordinance,'and it was moved by Mr. Vincent, seconded by Mr. Ford, to approve this ordinance
<br />as presented, YEAS Ford, Vincent, LaPonza, Macs, Foltz, Prokasy.
<br />A communication was read from the Clerk of Council in regard to Ordinance 64-88, the Cluster
<br />Zoning, and it was moved by Mr. Foltz, seconded by Mr. Ford, to approve this ordinance as `
<br />presented. YEAS Foltz, Ford, Vincent, LaPonza, Macs, Prokasy.
<br />The Building Department Report was read and each member presented with a copy of the Report.
<br />A communication was read f rom the Community Improvement Committee and a copy presented to
<br />each member of the Commission.
<br />WOODVIEW SUBDIVISION NQ. 2
<br />Mro Richard Putzitello came before the Commission requesting a 15 foot variance on the
<br />rear yard setbacks in the Woodview Subdivision No. 2 consisting of 21 sublots. After
<br />consideration it was moved by Mr. Vincent, seconded by Mr. Foltz, to recommend to Council
<br />the 15 foat rear yard variance as requested by the developer, YEAS Vincent, Foltz, Ford,
<br />LaPonza, Macs, Prokasy.

<br />Kanareff was present before the Commission on behalf of Mr. Biskind and presented the
<br />ommission with 3 plans for consideration by them for the lands located between Stearns and
<br />Barton Roads,
