t•' CITY OF PdORTH OLMSTED - BOARD OF ZOTIIIuG AFPEALS <br />Regl.tlar Meeting held at City Hall -- July 5,, 1967 <br />The meeting was called to order at 7:30 P.M. by Mr. William Greene, Chairrnan. <br />Members Present: Mrs. Eian, Messrs. Greene, Roberts <br />The minutes of the June 22, 1967 meeting were approved as written. <br />l, Appellant: Otta Tache, 25053 Antler Drive. Rea,uest to exect an attached <br />garage and a covered patio. Variance of 21 rear yara and 21 <br />side yard requested. <br />In violation of Ordinance #62-33, Section 1161.0I and 1163.01 <br />which reGuire that the sum of the two sides sh?:11 not be less <br />tllan 15t and the mini.mum d.epth of the rear yard shall be 501. <br />Present: Mr. Tache, Mr. and Mrso Dittebran.d <br />Mr. and Mrs. Dittebrand objected to the fact that they were not told they <br />coulcl appeal when they needed I21 variance for a gara_ge. There were no <br />objections to Mr. Tache's plan. Mr. Roberts moved that a 21 rear yard <br />gariance and a 21 side yard variance be granted; secondeci by Mrs. Eian <br />and passed. <br />2. Appellant: Angelo and Mary Skoulis, 24732 Mitchell Drive. Request to <br />erect a 516" patio fence. Variance of 12" requested. <br />In violation of Ordinance 7"62-33, Sec-tion 1151.04 fence <br />not to exceed 41 in height. <br />PreF,enta Mr. Skoulis <br />Mr. Skoulis wants to place fence 2' from property sicie line.and lg" from <br />rear line for the purpose of enclosing patio. Mrs. Eian moved to grant a <br />1?1 variance for the purpose of erecting a 516" fence to encl.ose patio; <br />seconded by Mr. Roberts and passed. <br />3. Appellant: Fred Papenfuss, 5682 South Porter Road. Reauest to erect a <br />61 fence around rear yard. Variance of 2' is requested. <br />In violation of Ordinance #62-331 Section 1151.049 fence not <br />to exceed 41 in height. <br />Present: Mr. Papen£uss <br />Mr. Panenfuss has an 1$' in cliameter and 4' deep pool ancl beeause of the many <br />children in the neighborhood, wants the fence for added safety and privacy, <br />P4r. Roberts moved to qrar-t a 2' variance for the purpose of erecting a 6' <br />fence a,round the bacl: yara; seconded by Mrs. Eian and passed. <br />4m Appellants Philip Su1l.ivan, 5785 Decker Roa.d. Request to build a <br />detached garage 3' from lot line. Variance of 21 is rec;uestecl. <br />In violation of Ordinance 7-1,Y62-33, Section 1151.04, a detached <br />garage must not be s-rithin 5' of any property 1ine. <br />Present: ; "Mr, Sullivan
