Greene, Forcellini, Roberts, Mrs. Eian <br />Also present: Mr. Crundy, Building Commissioner <br />The minutes of the 6/20/6$ meeting were approved as written. <br />l. Appellant: Snider Building Corporation. R.equsst to erect a house at 6729 Chadbourne <br />Drive on axi irreguuI.ar shaped lot that is sraaIler than the minimum <br />svuare footage required. <br />Request is in vzo].ation of Ordiizance #62-33, Section 1157.01 which re- <br />quires a minimun area of.10,$50 feet. <br />Present: liard Bennet frvm Snider Builders, Mr. Woesd, Mr. BancGk, Mr. Yatake <br />Mro Bennett announced that they have enlarged the lot to comply mf:th tiie 10,850 feet <br />reauiremento However., a rear yard variance would still be necessary along one portion <br />of the house. It. wa.s pointed- out that there is presentlg La.O1 of unusable Iand. $y <br />enlarging the lot in question., 911 would be utilized leaving 49' thhat the builder hopes <br />to be able to sell to the homeowners on each side. The rear yard variance required <br />would be extremely large and would mean that the homeowner would have only a 61 rear yard <br />aI.vng the one portion of the house due to the irregular sha.pc of the lot. Mr. Yanke, <br />owner of the lot to the rear, stated that he wou7.d not sell any portion of his lando <br />Mr. Boncek sta.ted that he would be interested in purchasing 371 of the lot in question <br />in order to enl.arge his own Iot. Mr. Ya.nke stated that he might be wiZling to purchase :... <br />a portion of the larid aIso and that if the homeowner on the other side of the vaca.nt <br />lots would purchase the remaining portion' the entire problem could be resolved. It <br />was decided that the homeowners would meet with the builders and that hopefully they <br />might reach some agreement. Mrs. Eian moged to continue thc case to the next meQting; <br />seconded by Mr. Forcellini a.nd passed. <br />2. Appelldnt:-,°`.Ralph Churchin, 244-29 irrooclmere. Request to erect a hobby greenhouse <br />2t 611 from the property line. <br />Request is in violation of Ordinance #62-333 Section 1161.01, the <br />minimurn width of the side yarel shall be9 on one side, not less than <br />51 a.nd the sum of the two sides sha11 be not less than I51. <br />Present: Aqr. Churchin, Mr. Gordon9 Mr. Winemiller <br />Mr. Churchin explained that he had the hobby greenhouse before moving to his present <br />house. It is impossible to locate it in any other Iocation of the Iot. His side yard is <br />adjacent to the rear yards on Gessner and Walter R.oads and wouZd be a great distance from <br />any other building. Mr: Gordon and Mr. Winemiller stated tha.t they do not object. Mr. <br />Forcellini moved to grant a 216" variance; seconded by Mr: Greene snd passed. <br />3. Appella.nt: George Taseff, 23714 Curtis Drive. Request to erect a 61 fence across <br />- rea.r of property. <br />Requeat is in violation of Ordinance #62-33, 5ection 1151.04, fence not <br />to exceed 41 in height.
