Call <br />The meeting was called to order at 8:30 P.M. by Chairman James Leonard.. <br />Those preaent were Mssrs. Leonaxd, Richard Nelson, Kurt Richards, James <br />Davis. Absento Donald Ledvina, Edward Eiyers, Edward Brewer. Also <br />presenta Mr. Ransberry, Assistant to Acting City Engineer; SaIIy Henlcle, <br />Secretary. <br />II. Mr. Davis moved to dispense with the reading of the minutes of the 7A4/70 <br />meeting and to approve as written9 seconded by Mr. Richards and unanimously <br />passed. <br />III. Old BusitZess <br />(a) Mittleman Subdivision - Mr. Mittleman presented a revised pIan adding <br />21 to S 3 so as to make it conforming in square footage. Mr. Nelson <br />moved to approve the revised plan for Mittleman Subdivision dated <br />JulSr 1970; seconded by Mr. Davis and unanimously passed. <br />IV. New Developments and Subdivisions <br />(a) Isabell Realt.y_Subdivisio_n_ - Mr. Ransberry presented plans for the <br />sPlitting of one Iot into two at the corner of Mill and Porter Roads. <br />He stated that the dimensions checlc out. Discussion was held. Mr. <br />Leonard moved to accept the IsaUell Realty S?.ibdivision as shown; <br />seconded by Mr. Nelson and unanimously passedo <br />(b) Bauer Rezonina Request - Plans were presented for an area of approxi- <br />mately eight acres south of the area that the Planning Commission <br />recently recommended rezoning to multipleresidence for Mr. Shur. Mr. <br />Ransberry stated that the plans havenft been completely reviewed but <br />asked what guidelines should be followed for proposed apartments. <br />The request is for rezoning from Class B Residential to Multiple <br />Residence. However, mixed multiple cri-teria was used on Mr. Shur's <br />proposal. It was agreed tlzat the same criteria should be followed <br />in this caseo Discussion was held and it was suggested that Mr. <br />Bauer get together with I4ir. Shur to tie roads in together, etc. It <br />was fel.t that co-operation now would be most beneficial since both <br />developments are just in the planning stages. Mr. Bauer withdrew his <br />request and wi.ll re-submit plans at a later date using mixed-nultiple <br />criteria and with at least two good openingso <br />V. Communications <br />(a) Letter from Board of Zoning Appeals requesting that a member attend <br />their meeting on 8/5/70. The secretary was instrztcted to write a <br />Ietter to the Board expressing the Planning Commission's feelings <br />on the topic in questiona ` <br />V2. Committee Reports - None
