R.oll Call <br />The meeting wa.s called to order at 8e02 P.M. by Chairman Donald Ledvina. <br />Those present vrere Mssrs, Ledvina, James Davis, Richarcl Nelson, Kurt <br />Richards, Ed-vrard B,yers, James Leonard. Absent: J. Edward Brewer. Mr. <br />Richarcls moved to ex_cuse tile absence of Mr. Brewer; seconded by NIr. Nelson <br />and unar_imous7_y passed. Also presents Mr. Ransbury, Assistant to Acting <br />City Engineer9 Sa1.ly Henicle, Secretary, <br />II. Reading and Correction of i-linutes <br />Tt was saggested that the title of V. (d) in the minutes of 2/23/71 be <br />changed fron Great Northern I4iaster Plan to Country Club Boulevard.. Mr. <br />Leonard moved to disnense *rrlth the reading of the minutes of the 2123/71 <br />meeting and to apnrove as corrected; seconded by Mr. Nelson and unanimously <br />passed. <br />III. Building Department REquests - None <br />IV. Old Business <br />(a) Hen Roc Investment Co. Rezonina - Mr. Ledvina read a letter from Mr. <br />Frank i4oss withdrawing this proposal. <br />(b) Sand.,y Ridge Subdivision #9 - N1r. Ledvina stated that the Law Directar <br />wants more time to study tre question regarding separa.tion of cluster <br />areas ar_d that no action can be taken until he reaches a decision. <br />Mr. DiBenedetto stated that he will be bringing in a new plan which <br />will tie in zri.th land owned by Ballard Vincent. Mr. Nelson moved to <br />keep the pronosal in committee; seconded by Mr. Davis and :oassed with <br />Mr. Leonard voting no. <br />(c) Great Northern Paxtnershzn Rezoning - It4r. Ransbury stated that he had <br />checked into the rezoning proposal passed by the Planning Com.mission <br />Iast year and found that saaue was turned down by Council. This plan <br />straightens line out more than previous nroPosal did and moued the <br />line 45' north a.nd furthur Trom area nresently zoned B Reo?identia.l. <br />The renuest is to rezone this small area from B Residential to Mixed Use. <br />Discussion was held. This plan would create an ad.ditional 45' buffer <br />between tne residential and mixed-use area. Mr. Leonard moved to accept <br />the Grea.t Northern Partnership recuest to change from Class B Residential <br />to Mixed-Use as shown3 seconded by iqr. Byers and unan imously passed, <br />(d) ?-roodmere Drive Access ?•Talk - Mr. Ransbury stated that he contacted the <br />renresentative of the Homeowners Association and rer.:uested a letter <br />from the propert3r owners directly involved or askecl that they attend <br />the meeting. He was told tha.t this was not possible at the present <br />time, Mr. Leonard moved to reject the request; seconded by Mr. Davis <br />and unanimously passed. <br />V.
