Roll Ca11 <br />The meeting was called to order by Cha irman Davis at 8:00 <br />p,m, Those present were Messrs. Davis, Donald I,edvina, <br />Secretazly, Robert Elliott9 'ames Leonard and Kurt Richards. <br />Also presenta Mr. Frnest Gundy., Building Commissioner, P'[r. <br />Dave RD.nsbL_ry, Assistan-t to Cit.y Engineer and Mrs. Virginia <br />Hodgins, Recording Secretary. <br />TI. Reading and Correction of Minutes <br />Mr, Leonard moved to accept minutes as presented. Motion <br />was seconded by Mr. Richards and passed unanimously. <br />TII. Building Department Requests <br />(a) Mr. Gundy presented plans for Garrousel School - <br />Gerber Childrents Center. Tt is -to be a service <br />establishment in a one story building privately <br />owned and operated for profit. School will ac- <br />commodate 86 children, have 10 empl.oyees and is <br />required to have 25 parking spaces9 30 parking <br />spaces are proposed. Nir. Ledvina moved to place <br />proposal in committee for study. ivfr. Elliott <br />seconded the motion. Mr. Ledvina suggested elimina- <br />tion of two parking spaces to enlarge driveway. Mr. <br />Davis suggested privacy fence at rear of property. <br />The motion passed. <br />IV. Old Business - There was no old business. <br />V: Vew Developments and Subdivisions <br />(a) l,arris 5ubdivision ( Cor. Clague and LeBern) <br />14r. Ransbur,y preseMted plans for 2 lots (60 <br />ft. x 150 ft.) to be made from one lot. The <br />existing home faces on Clague; small lot con- <br />forms with other homes on the street. Pir. <br />Leonard moved, seconded by PZr. Ledvina, to ap- <br />prove subdivision. Motion passed unani.mously. <br />(b) Mr. Smola, representative of Ceot S. Ryder Co. <br />presented plans for Pol.ice Station Building. He <br />stated it is field cost prablem to remave present <br />? cells to new bu ilding. Mr. Leonard asked how
