PLANNING COMMISSION November 13, 1973 I. Roll Call Chairman Davis called the meeting to order at 8:05 p.m. Those present were: Pflessrs. Davis, Chairman, Elliott, Secretary, Brewer and Richards Also present: Mr. McDermott, Assistant to the City Engineer, Ms. Gundy, Buil.ding Commissioner and Pfirso Hodgins, Recording Secretary, Councilman Saringer. II. Reading and Correction of 14.inutes In the Oct. 23 minutes Item VI (c) Oct. 10 shouZd be Oct. 30. Mr. Brewer moved minutes to be approved as corrected. Mr. R.ichards seconded and motion passed. In the Oct. 30 minutes NIr. Ledvina seconded motion to adjourn. Mr. Brewer moved to accept the Oct. 30 minutes as corrected. Mr. Elliott seconded and motion passed. III. Building Department Requests (a) Mr. Gundy resubmitted plans for 1Vorth Olmsted Arms Medical Buildinga NIr. Olayas and the architect Ko- hei Tshikawa were present. Planning Commission has not received anstaer from Law Director Kitchen regard- ing question of parking. There is flexibitity with- in the code. Mr. Brewer moved to retain in Committeeo rTr. Elliott seconded and motion passed. Item N(c) is now eliminated from agenda. (b) iyIr. Gundy presented plans of Fred OsV,ald, Lorain Dover Auto Shop, 503L Daver Center Rd. Plans are to build addition to non-conforming building. One wall will be torn down making way for 24 x 34 addition to rear. Driveway is 10 fto from property line to building. Tt is a permitted continued use. Mr. Brewer moved to ap- prove subject to inciusion of asphalt parking and drive- way as shown on amended plan. Mr. Richards seconded and. motion passed. (c) Mr. Gundy presented pl.ans of North 01.msted United Methodist church to be located north of 3246 Dover Center Rdo Zoning Board has approved on contingency that more people on Ben- wood Circle be notified. Site was located on map, T?:alt Spaulding represented the church group, Mr. Earl Pesta, 27449 Benwood Cirele, Nir. Ed Petz, 27475 Benwood Circle
