GITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, OHIO PLANNING COMMISSION November 27, 1973 I, Roll Call Meeting was called to order by Vice Chairman Ledvina at 8:07 p.m. Present: Messrs. Ledvina, Chairman, E1liott, Seeretary, Brewer, Richards and Tischler Also present: Mr._ McDermott, Assistant to the City Engineer, Mr. Gundy, Building Commissioner, Mrs. Hodgins, Recording Secre- tary and Councilmen Saringer and West. II. Reading and Correction of Minutes Mr. Brewer moved to approve minutes of ineeting November 13, 1973 as submitted. Mr. Elliott seconded and motion bassed unanimously. IIIo Building Department requests (a) Mre Gundy read ruling contained in letter from Lata Director Kitchen dated November 20, 1973. Tt is the opinion of the Law Director that North Olmsted Arms Medical Building park- ing requirements be based on standard of five (5) spaces per officem There are 36 offices proposed and 182 parking spaces provided in plan. Mr. Brewer moved to approve plan in view of ruling of Law Director Kitchena Mr. Tischler seconded and motion passed unanimously. (Item IV (b) on agenda is eliminated) (Item IV (a) is postponed at request of developer) (b) Mr. Gundy presented plans of ??,:est Side Federal Savings and Loan, 25801 Lorain Rd. After considerable discussion Mr. Brewer moved to reject. i,lre Tischler seconded and motion passed. Item rejected because of poor planning. IV. (See above) V. Netu Developments and Subdivisions (a) DuBose Corp. {Color tile store) (South side Lorain Rda next to McClean) Mr. McDermott submitted request for subdivision and/lor modification of property linea Car wash exists on east property. Plan will decrease frontage on one parcel on Lorain Rd. Variance has been granted by Board of Zon- ing Appeals. i'k. Brevier moved subdivision plans be ap- - proved. Mr. Richards seconded and motion passed.
