City of North 0lmsted <br />BOARD OF ZONING APPEAIS <br />October 3, 1973 <br />Meeting was called to order at 7:30 p.m. by Vice Chairman Hamill. <br />1'resent: Messrs. Hamill, Tubbs, Duskey and Mrs. Virginia Hodgins, Record- <br />ing Secretary. <br />In minutes of July 25, 1973 addition was made to motion in Friedl case - <br />1Pfor 6 month trial period'0 0 <br />In minutes of September 12, 1973 there should be a change on Page 3- <br />Mr. Roberts was elected Chairman of the Board. <br />Continuance of hearing: Michael & Sandra U,'esterfeld, 2521L <br />Deerfield Dr. Request for variance (1133•13). Request for <br />23 ft. 8 in. rear yard variance. Violation of Ord. 62-33 <br />Section 1163.01 which requix-es 50 ft. rear yarde <br />Present: Nr. Westerfeld. Case was read. 14itness was administered <br />the oatho Structure was started July 2. Mr. Tubbs had inspected <br />and said structure is finished, landscaped and looks o.k. except <br />for closeness of neighbors; there is obvious shortage of space bea <br />tmeen homes, garages. He informed Mr. Westerman he is in bad posi- <br />tion. After lengthy discussion Mro Tubbs moved to grant 23 fte 8 <br />in. variance in this case. Mr. Duskey seconded and motion passedo <br />Continuance of hearing: Hennie Homes. Request for variance (1133.13)0 <br />Request for 9 ft. rear yard variance oiz permanent parcel 235-8-63,601t1 <br />Doroth,y Ilrive. Violation of Ord. 62-33 Section 1163.01 which requires <br />a 50 ft. rear yard. <br />Present: Walter Welke. Case was read. igitness was administered <br />the oath. Upon investigation it taas found the deck does have posts. <br />Members of the Board studied plans and site location and suggested <br />turning house to place garage on south li:ne. Request for rear yard <br />variance was withdrawn. <br />l. MichaEl Krause, 3177 W. 97th St., Cleveland2 Ohio. Request for vari- <br />ance on S/L 519, Permanent Parcel #233-21-55 Ulellesley Ave,, North <br />Olmsted, Ohio. Request for 5 fto 6 in. variance on siae yard to en- <br />able him to build home on 43•56 ft. lot. Violation of Ord. 62-33 Sec- <br />tion 1161s01. <br />Present: M. Krausea Case was read. Witness was administered the <br />oatho Board members examined plans and sketche Mr. Krause explained <br />plans. Mr. Takahashi Uaas administered the oath at this time. He has <br />no objections.
