PLANNING & DESIGN COMMISSION <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />MINUTES FOR MAY 13, 2015 <br />ROLL CALL <br />Chair Malone called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. in Council Chambers and led the Pledge of <br />Allegiance. . <br />Present: Greg Malone, Julie Nader, Paul Schumann, David Anderson, Thomas Patton, <br />Ralph Bohlmann <br />Absent: Don Rerko <br />Staff: Planning & Development Director Kimberly Wenger, City Engineer Pietro <br />DiFranco, Clerk of Commissions Donna Rote <br />REVIEW AND CORRECTION OF MINUTES <br />Mr. Malone moved, seconded by Ms. Nader, to approve the Planning & Design <br />Commission minutes of Apri18, 2015, which passed 6-0. <br />NEW BUSINESS <br />CMS15-3144 Robert Greller & Cleveland Metroparks; 5448 Barton Road <br />Proposal consists of splitting the rear 2.750 ac. of PPN 233-03-003, and combining with PPN <br />233-04-010 (7.669 ac.), resulting in a newly assembled paxcel (10.419 ac.) with frontage on <br />Bradley Road and remainder parcel PPN 233-03-003 (2.300 ac.) with frontage on Barton Road. <br />The parcels involved are zoned B-One Family Residence. <br />Mr. Malone read a letter from the Metroparks giving Mr. Greller the authority to represent them as <br />they were unable to attend. Ms. Wenger said the lots being created conform to the zoning district <br />therefor she has no objections. Mr. DiFranco said he had no objections other than minor alterations <br />to the plat which needs to be made prior to submitting the Mylar for recording. <br />Mr. Malone moved, seconded by Mr. Schumann, to approve CMS15-3144 Robert Greller & <br />Clev.eland Metroparks of 5448 Barton Road their request to split the rear 2.750 ac. of PPN <br />233-03-003, and combine it with PPN 233-04-010 (7.669 ac.), resulting in a newly assembled <br />parcel (10.419 ac.) with frontage on Bradley Road and remainder parcel PPN 233-03-003 <br />(2.300 ac.) with frontage on Barton Road. Motion passed 6-0. <br />CMS15-3162 Rite Aid; 29000 Lorain Road <br />Proposal consists of consolidating 2 individual parcels currently identified as PPNs 233-26-001 <br />(3.3599 ac.) and 233-25-007 (1.6965) to form a single parcel containing within its boundaries <br />5.0564 ac. The northern portion of parcel 233-25-007 is currently zoned B-One Family <br />Residence. The remainder of the property is zoned General Retail Business. <br />Ms. Wenger said the proposal is to consolidate the Rite Aid property with the remaining sliver of
