BUILDING & ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />MINUTES FOR f THE MEETING OF NOVEMBER 6, 2017 <br />ROLL CALL <br />Chairman Raig called the meeting to order at 7:03 pm in Council Chambers and led the Pledge <br />of Allegiance. <br />Present: Michael Raig, Bob <br />Staff: Law Director Michael <br />James Aspery <br />REVIEW AND CORRECTION <br />, Ralph Maclcey, Eric Allain <br />., Jr., Assistant Building Commissioner Dan Russell, Planner <br />MINUTES <br />Mr. Allain moved, seconded by 1?Ir. Mackey, to approve the Building &• Zoning Board of <br />Appeals minutes of October 2, 2017, motion passed 4-0. <br />RESIDENTIAL 1ZEQUESTS <br />17-10097; Robert & Cindy Almaldv; 3946 Shelley Drive <br />Representatives: Robert and Cindyl Almady, Owners <br />Proposal consists of a new home. he property is zoned One Family Residence-A. The following <br />variance is requested: <br />1. A 14.19 ft. variance for rear ya d setback; code requires 50 ft., applicant shows 35.81 ft., <br />Section 1135.06(d). <br />Mr. Aspery stated that the applica t is requesting a rear setback variance of 14:19 feet to allow <br />for the construction of a single story home on their vacant lot at 3346 Shelley Drive. Code <br />requires a rear yard setback of no llIess than 50 feet. Mr. s.
