CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />CULTURAL ACTIVITIES COMMISSION <br />OLD TOWN HALL <br />SEPTEMBER 6, 2006 <br />6:45PM <br />MINUTES <br />1. ROLL CALL: <br />PRESENT: R. Garland, G. Yustick, J. Kepperley, F. Curry, D. Wahl, B. Brown <br />ABSENT: B. Martindale <br />II. REVIEW AND CORRECTION OF MINUTES: <br />III. NEW BUSINESS: <br />Mr. Kepperley has received about 400 business cards from various artists. He will add them to <br />the mailing list. They will also have to look into whether the festival booths will require <br />electricity. <br />IV. OLD BUSINESS: <br />Homecoming turnout was good. Mr. Garland doesn't think the Senior Center was,a good <br />location for the CAC sign ups and information. <br />Ms. Curry contacted Kay Daley at the Sun Newspaper regarding news release for next year's art <br />show. Kay suggested Ms. Curry contact Carole Kovach for further assistance. Mr. Wahl shared <br />the neopal website as a means for Ms. Curry to look into other art festivals and information. Mr. <br />Yustick, Mr. Kepperley, and Mrs. Brown will put labels on art show applications and mail them. <br />V. COMMUNICATIONS: <br />VI. COMMITTEE REPORTS: <br />VII. ADJOURNMENT: <br />Motion to adjourn made by Mr. Wahl, second by Mrs. Brown, which was unanimously <br />approved.
