2007 CULTURAL ACTIVITIES COMMISSION INDEX <br />JANUARY 10, 2007 <br />• Cultural Activities Commission to review and approve minutes for the December <br />6, 2006 meeting. <br />? ELECTION OF CHAIRMAN <br />• Review and discuss the Holiday Event at Old Town Hall. <br />• Any update on the August 2007 Art Show. <br />• Dover Players: Schedule of any upcoming performances <br />FEBRUARY 7, 2007 <br />• The Commission discussed suggestions for programs for Blaclc History month. <br />• The Spider's Web will be the Dover Players first production in May. <br />• The Commission is interested in creating some advertising for the Frostville event <br />MARCH, 2007 <br />Due to a laclc of a quorum, there was no official meeting for the Cultural <br />Activities Commission in March, 2007. <br />APRIL 4, 2007 <br />• The Commission discussed with Mr. Schumann other arrangements for the Art <br />Show at Frostville in August. <br />• Mrs. Martindale suggested that residents along Butternut could participate in <br />Homecoming. <br />• The Dover Players will also have their annual Mystery Dinner fund raiser on <br />Apri120t" and 21 St <br />MAY 2, 2007 <br />• Mr. Kepperley mentioned that Officer Carbone is trying to estaUlish pole <br />banners along Butternut Ridge and Burns, to raise school spirit. <br />• Mr. Wahl and Mr. Yusticlc discussed making a one day show for the art exhibit at <br />Frostville. <br />• The next meeting is changed from June 6th to May 30t1, <br />• The High School play Music Man has been very successful. <br />JUNE 6, 2007 <br />• Mr. Kepperley introduced the Cuyahoga County CAC grant program. <br />• The Cominission will meet at Frostville on June 27 at 6:45pm. <br />• Mr. Kepperley will also be coordinating a High School art competition, with <br />awards given to winners. Lone Star stealc house will have chiclcen dinners <br />available for purchase. <br />• Ms. Curry suggested that it would help to be on site to establish the layout. She <br />stated she received a county wide e-mail listing of all of the arts related events for <br />the summer. <br />JUNE 26, 2007 <br />0 The Commission discussed the planning for the Art Festival in August.
