CITY OF NORTH pLMSTED <br />CULTURAL ACTIVITIES COMNIISSION <br />FROSTVILLE MUSEUM <br />JUNE 27,2007 <br />MINUTES <br />1. ROLL CALL: <br />Chairman Garland called the meeting to order at 6:45pm. <br />PRESENT: R. Garland, G. Yustick, J. Kepperley, B. Martindale, F. Curry, D. Wahl, B. <br />' Brown <br />AB SENT: <br />Guests: Heather Heilman from NOHS, Paul Schumann from the Landmarks Commission. <br />II. REVIEW AND CORRECTION OF MINUTES: <br />Mr. Kepperley moved to approve the minutes for May 2, 2007, seconded by Mrs. Brown, <br />which was unanimously approved. III. NEW BUSINESS: <br /> <br />IV. OLD BUSINESS: <br />Frostville Art Show <br />The Commission discussed the planning for the Art Festival in August. <br />Mr. Kepperley addressed the plan for the student show and spoke to Heather about setting up <br />the show in the barn. They will need to determine how many students will participate. There <br />will be acoustic music. <br />Lone Star steak house will be setting up a table to sell food. <br />Mrs. Brown suggested a program guide for the artists. Mr. Yustick also mentioned <br />implementing the food collection for the city program. Mr. Schumann used the Olmsted <br />Historical Society's Summerfest guide as an example of a brochure that people could follow. <br />Tents could be erected outside as well and all of the houses will be open to tour. They <br />should have numbers for each display. The drop off/ set up time will be at 8am., the festival <br />starts at l0am. V. COMMUNICATIONS: <br />The Commission will not meet again officially until August. <br />V
