CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />CUI,'TURAI. ACTIVITIES COMMISSION <br />QLD TOWN HALL <br />APRIL 4, 2007 <br />MINiJTES <br />1. ROLL CALL: Chairman Garland called roll at 6:45pm. <br />PRESENT: R. Garland, G. Yustick, J. Kepperley, B. Martindale, D. Wahl <br />ABSENT: B. Brown, F. Curry <br />ADDITIONAL VISITORS: Paul Schumann, Landmarks Chairperson <br />REVIEW AND CORRECTION OF MINUTES: <br />Mr. Kepperley moved to approve the February 7, 2007 minutes with corrections, <br />seconded by Mr. Garland, which was unanimously approved. <br />H. NEW BUSINESS: <br />III. OLD BUSINESS: <br />Frostville Art Show <br />The Commission discussed with Mr. Schumann other arrangements for the Art Show <br />at Frostville in August. The possibility of using it for a one day event instead of a <br />weekend would reduce the cost. The application fee could be lowered to $40.00. <br />The Commission then discussed the new county arts program and how this would <br />benefit their commission. <br />IV. COIVIMUNICATIONS: <br />Mrs. Martindale commented on Mr. Joe Bouman's idea for his Lincoln House. <br />Mrs. Martindale suggested that residents along Butternut Ridge could put up signs <br />displaying the name of the president who was in office at the time the home was built. <br />Perhaps this could be done for Homecoming weekend. <br />V. COMMITTEE REPORTS: <br />Dover Plavers <br />Mrs. Martindale reported that the Dover Players are on track with rehearsals for the <br />upcoming spring play The Spider's Web, scheduled to open on May 0'. The Dover <br />Players will also have their annual Mystery Dinner fund raiser on Apri120tn and 21St <br />VI. ADJOURNMEleTT: <br />Mr. Kepperley moved to adjourn the meeting, seconded by Mr. Wahl, which was <br />unanimously approved. Meeting adjourned at 7:30pm.
