CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />CULTURAL ACTIVITIES COMMISSION <br />MEETING MINUTES OF DECEMBER 15, 2009 <br />ROLL CALL <br />Chair Yustick called the meeting to order at 6:45 p.m. at the North Olmsted Library. <br />Present: Gerald Yustick, Beverle Martindale, David Wahl, Barbara Brown, Faye Curry <br />Absent: John Kepperley <br />REVIEW AND CORRECTION OF MINUTES <br />Ms. Brown moved, seconded by Mr. Wahl, to approve the minutes of November 4, 2009, which <br />were approved 5-0. <br />OLD BUSINESS <br />Holiday Lighting Contest 2009 <br />Three entries were received; one was submitted without a photo. Mr. Yustick, Mr. Kepperley, <br />and Mr. Wahl will view the displays in person on the evening of December 18. <br />Christmas Festival at Old Town Hall <br />Mr. Wahl reported there is no news on the Christmas Festival. <br />Juried Arts & Crafts Festiva12010 <br />Mr. Yustick said planning continues for the 2010 festival. Ms. Brown said she picked up a flyer <br />at the John Knox Arts & Craft Festival listing arts and crafts festivals for 2010. Mr. Yustick <br />confirmed that Mr. Kepperley has requested the flyer. <br />NEW BUSINESS <br />2010 Meeting Calendar <br />The calendar dates were approved by the Commission members however they will meet at 6:45 <br />p.m. through the winter months beginning in October. From April through September the <br />Commission will meet at 7:00 p.m. The Commission will continue to meet at the Library. <br />Goals and proiects for 2010 <br />It is agreed the Commission will continue to co-sponsor the Juried Arts & Crafts Festival and. <br />Dover Players projects.
