ROLL CALL: <br />Vice Chairman Koeth called the meeting to order at 7:30pm. <br />PRESENT: Chairman R. Tallon and Board Members K. O'Rourke, T. Hreha, C. Allan, <br />W. Spalding, and B. Koeth. <br />ALSO PRESENT: Asst. Law Director J. Dubelko, Building Commissioner D. Conway, <br />and Asst. Clerk of Commissions K. Fallon <br />ABSENT: Board Member S. Asseff <br />II. REVEEW AND CORRECTION OF MINUTES: The minutes of May 23, 2000 Planning <br />Commission meeting have been submitted for approval. <br />K. O'Rourke motioned to approve the minutes of May 23, 2000 Planning Commission <br />meeting as written and submitted. The motion was seconded by C. Allan and <br />unanimously approved. <br />M. BLTILDING DEPARTMENT REQUESTS: <br />1. Westbury Apartments; 25151 Brookpark Rd. <br />Proposal consists of determination of use classification for proposed wireless telephone <br />collection facility. <br />Communitv Building; 26777 Lorain Rd. <br />Proposal consists of determination of use classification for proposed wireless telephone <br />collection facility. <br />Corporate Center One; 25000 Countrv Club Blvd. <br />Proposal consists of determination of use classification for proposed wireless telephone <br />collection facility. <br />Vice Chairman Koeth called all interested parties forward to review the proposal. Mr. <br />Wanamaker, from Oxbow Engineering, came forward to review the proposals. Mr. <br />Conway interjected that Mr. Wanamaker was present to represent the first three <br />properties, two of which are Mixed Use. He indicated that the Board needs to change it <br />to Similar Use in General Retail and then determine that use as being consistent with the <br />other mixtures that are on the other two buildings. Mr. Conway indicated that this is a <br />use that could not fit into any specific use. Mr. Wanamaker indicated that he is <br />representing Teligent, Inc. He indicated that what Teligent provides is fixed wire <br />telephone which would be direct competition for Ameritech. The technology that is used <br />is a hub and spoke microwave technology to where a tall building in a neighborhood <br />would be the collection point where many antennas would be placed then serve the <br />surrounding separate buildings for the telephone use. Each one of those surrounding
