<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />NORTH OLMSTED PARKS AND RECREATION COMMISSION MEETING <br /> <br />May 10, 1999 <br /> <br /> <br />Meeting called to order: 7:00 p.m. <br /> <br />Attendance: Mayor Norm Musial <br /> Claire Hayes, Chairman <br /> Dave Gardner, Member <br /> Carolyn Kasler, City Council Member <br /> Rich Scott, Member <br /> Tom Jenkins, Safety Director <br /> Todd Morgan, Acting Commissioner <br /> Patricia Scott, Secretary <br /> <br />Absent: Tim Smith, Vice-Chairman <br /> Robert Kasler, Member <br /> <br />Visitors: Ralph Bohlman, Service Director <br /> Tom Stein, Maintenance Supervisor (NORC) <br /> Paul Miller, Council Member <br /> Duane Limpert, Council Member <br /> Mike Gareau, Jr. Council Member <br /> Jan Popa, Personnel Director <br /> Carrie Copfer, Finance Director <br /> Mary Creadon, Administrative Assistant. <br /> Lisa Limpert <br /> <br />William Burton <br /> <br /> Rae Ann Thomas <br /> Fran Benya <br /> <br />There was a joint meeting with Recreation Committee and Rec Commission members regarding <br />a prioritized list of repairs and replacements for the Recreation Complex as assessed by Todd <br />. <br />Morgan & Tom Stein <br /> <br />Visitors Opportunity to Address Commission: <br />Rae Ann Thomas is requesting permission to commence forward with constructing the skate <br />board park. Mrs. Thomas stated that to date she has had positive feed back from residents. The <br />Park will be monitored and closed at dusk. After approval it will take approximately 2 months to <br />open. After some discussion regarding the Skateboard Park it was decided to have an open <br />meeting to answer questions for residents. The meeting is scheduled for June 7, 1999 at 7:00 <br />p.m. Mrs. Thomas will distribute the flyers to the residents. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
