January 5, 1977 - Letter from Ray Carnahan,Safety Director, informing
the Commission of two new appointments to the Police Department from
the certified list.
New Business:
The meeting of the Commission was mainly concerned with a letter from James C.
Supple, Chairman Drivers Committee, North Olmsted Bus Operators. The letter
concerned the return of a former bus operator from a supervisory position
back to bus operator and his rights of seniority in picking bus runs.
Mr. Supple and a number of bus operators were present to discuss the issue.
The Commission stated that it did not appear that the issue raised was under
its jurisdiction. However, more information was needed and the secretary was
directed to request an opinion from the North Olmsted Law Director as well as
the Ohio State Personnel Department. _
Y
