REGULAR MEETING OF THE NORTH OLMSTED CIVIL SERVICE COMMISSION - 3/24/77 <br />Present were Commissioners Bill Coming and Walter Spalding, and Secretary James Kline. <br />The Commission made recognition that the minutes of February 4, 1977 was accepted <br />as submitted. <br />Correspondence: <br />1. November 30, 1976 - Letter sent to Chief Taylor, North Olmsted Police Dept, <br />submitting names from the certified clerical assistant <br />list. <br />2. January 11, 19--7.6_.- Letters received from Dr. Van Auken, Supt. of Schools <br />advising the Commission of three successful six-month <br />probationary appointments. - <br />3. February 3; 1977 - Letter from Earl Weldon advising the Commission of the <br />suspension of'Ron Kutler, Laborer Class C. <br />Motion by Bill Coming, seconded by Walter Spalding that the following bill be <br />submitted to the City Finance Department for payment; <br />Dr. Saks, Ross, and Associates <br />(Robert D. Dunn, Patrolman) $20,00 <br />Passed. <br />The Commission discussed with Mr, Richard Bronder, Manager of the North Olmsted <br />Recreation Complex, the Civil Service classification of certain positions at the <br />Recreation Center. <br />Mr. Bronder expressed a desire that the Commission reconsider positions which <br />were ruled as classified -competitive. <br />The Commission requested that Mr. Bronder review the present job descriptions <br />and submit to the Commission a letter for reconsideration. <br />Meeting adjourned.at 10:00 P.M. <br />Next Regular Meeting April 28, 1977 at 7:30 P.M. <br />Chairman <br />cc: W.
