Kerg III, removal from certified list for firefighter <br />Nov. 16, 1981 — Kevin Kittrick, removal from certified list for firefighter <br />Motion by Roger Alexander, seconded by Walter Spalding, the following expense <br />be submitted to the City Finance Department for payment: <br />McCann Associates 9910.62 <br />(examination for Building Inspector) <br />Passed. <br />A special meeting will be held on December 14, 1981 to hear Kevin Kittrick and <br />reach a decision on the appeal of William Schneider. <br />Communication from Eugene Petre, Safety Director, regarding firefighter applicant, <br />Carl Roach was discussed. Since Mr. Roach has passed the maximum age of 31, he <br />will no longer be considered for any vacancies in the fire department. <br />Correspondece from Mr. Robert Storch regarding a new position entitle Systems <br />Operator — MIS was discussed. Mr. Storch requested this position be declared <br />unclassified. It is the opinion of the Commission that this position does not <br />fall into one of the categories exempted from the classified service under the <br />Ohio Revised Code. Motion by Walter Spalding, seconded by Roger Alexander, that <br />the position of Systems Operator — MIS be a classified position. <br />Passed. <br />
