OLD BUSINESS: <br />Reschedule of Hearing on Request for Removal of a Candidate on Police Sergeant Eligible List <br />Legal Counsel Bryan O'Malley discussed the hearing procedures. <br />Legal Counsel for the City of North Olmsted, Jack Petronelli, provided an opening statement and <br />indicated that the witnesses will be sequestered; no objection from Legal Counsel for Brian <br />Bielozer; Patrick Milligan and Joseph George. Mr. Petronelli entered into the record City Exhibit 1: <br />Brian Bielozer's termination letter dated November 27, 2013; City Exhibit 2: LEADS letter dated <br />October 10, 2013 to Police Chief Jamie Gallagher. <br />First Witness: Detective Charles Fioritto for the City of North Olmsted. He is a TAC Officer, <br />Terminal Agency Coordinator for LEADS. Examination and cross examination proceeded. <br />Mr. Petronelli advised that Brian Bielozer was terminated on November 27, 2013 and is not an <br />employee for the City of North Olmsted. He had no other witnesses. <br />Mr. Milligan provided his opening statement and indicated that City Exhibit 1 speaks for itself and <br />that the termination has been grieved and is in the arbitration process. A reasonable approach would <br />be to have a temporary appointment until this matter is resolved. <br />First Witness: Michael Piotrowski, General Counsel for FOP and is a representative for Brian <br />Bielozer. Examination and cross examination proceeded. <br />
