- ANNUAL REPORT - 1965 - L <br />BOARD OF BUILDING CODE APPEALS �J <br />OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />Nhmiber of Meetings - 15 <br />James McEntee - - <br />- 13 <br />William Gilbert - <br />- 14 <br />Albert Dansberg - <br />- 12 <br />William McMichael <br />- 9 <br />Robert Hebebrand - <br />- 13 <br />Regular Meeting - January 9, 1965 <br />An appeal was made by Leonard Krill Company in regard to the Chrysler <br />Building on extra hazards involving heating and air conditioning equipment. <br />Asst. Fire Chief T. J. DeWerth stated that if the following recommendations <br />were corplied with, there would be no violation of the heating and air <br />conditioning code: <br />(1) That the master electric shut off be labled to be shut off in case of <br />fire or gasoline spill, so that all heating and ventilating fans will <br />be put out of operation, to prevent the spread of fumes and smoke. <br />(2) That some kind of pipe or wire fence is installed around heating <br />equipment so that no materials can be stored on or near equipment. <br />Regular Meeting - February 6, 1965 <br />James McEntee made motion to approve wire enclosure on Chrysler Building, <br />William Gilbert seconded. Unanimous7.7 approved. <br />Election of officers held: James McEntee, Chairman - Robert Hebebrand, <br />Secretary. Robert Hebebrand reappointed for 5 year term. <br />Moved by James McEntee, seconded by Al Dansberg that permit be granted to <br />move house from Brooklyn to Mastick Road required by Ordinance #63-224, if <br />the following conditions are complied with: house be completed, concrete <br />work done and landscaping in, within 6 months from date of permit, no <br />occupancy will be granted until sanitary sewers are connected. Unanimously <br />approved by Board, <br />James McEntee made motion that supplement be added or new ordinance passed in <br />reference to moving structures into North Olmsted from other communities. <br />William Gilbert seconded. Unanimously approved to write letter to Clerk of <br />Council. <br />Section 1603-65 of Zoning Ordinance, liveable floor area discussed. Albert <br />Dsnsberg and William Gilbert will look into rules as to procedures to be <br />followed on hearings. <br />R. Brown and J. Anderson of Weyerhauser Equipment discussed the new 1.,12" <br />thick 4 square kiln dried joist rafter and framing lumber. Board requested <br />affidavit of standards of lumber in comparison to 2" lumber. <br />Regular Meeting* - March 6, 1965 ' <br />At a public hearing required by Ord. #6h-151. Chapter 59 Regional Building Code <br />Mr. Phillip Engoglia made an appeal to use attached garage at 27955 Lorain <br />for a shoe repair shop. Mr. McEntee made motion to approve use of garage for <br />shoe repair business only per Building Commissionerts specifications. Al <br />Dansberg seconded. Unanimously approved. <br />
