Brake called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. <br />PRESENT: W. Brake and A. Campbell <br />ALSO PRESENT: Human Resources Director M. Gallo, Asst. Law Director 13. O'Malley, <br />and Civil Service Secretary S. Freeland <br />ABSENT: Commissioner M. Kelly <br />lI. DISPOSITION OF MINUTES: <br />Motion by Commissioner Brake, seconded by Commissioner Campbell, that the minutes of the <br />March 18, 2019 meeting be approved as received. <br />Motioned passed unanimously. <br />III. COMMUNICATIONS: <br />There were 2 items of correspondence received and 0 items of correspondence sent out by the Civil <br />Service Commission. <br />IV. OLD 13USINESS: <br />V. NEW BUSINESS: <br />Promotional Fire Captain and Promotional Dire Lieutenant Examination Protest <br />General discussion commenced regarding a protest for the written Dire Lieutenant Exam with a <br />summary of recommendation from the testing company Personnel Selection Services. <br />Motion by Commissioner Campbell, seconded by Commissioner Brake, to grant the protest on <br />question number 72 on the written Fire Lieutenant Exam. <br />Roll call: Commissioner Campbell: no and Commissioner Brake: no. <br />Motion fails. Protest denied. <br />General discussion commenced regarding protests for the written Tire Captain I?xam with a <br />summary of recommendations from the testing company Personnel Selection Services. <br />Motion by Commissioner Brake, seconded by Commissioner Campbell, to grant the protest on <br />question 31 on the written Tire Captain Exam. <br />Roll call: Commissioner Brake: no and Commissioner Campbell: no. <br />Motion fails. Protest denied. <br />
