CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />SPECIAL CIVIL SERVICE COMMISSION MEETING <br />MINUTES - JUNE 28, 2021 <br />7:00 P.M. <br />I. ROLL CALL: Chairman W. Brake called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. <br />PRESENT: W. Brake and A. Campbell <br />ALSO PRESENT: Asst. Law Director B. O'Malley and Human Resources Clerical Help Kim <br />Van Schoor <br />IL DISPOSITION OF MINUTES: <br />Motion by Commissioner Brake, seconded by Commissioner Campbell, that the May 17, 2021 <br />meeting minutes be approved as received. <br />Motioned passed unanimously. <br />Ill. COMMUNICATIONS: <br />"There was 27 item of correspondence received and 66 items of correspondence sent out by the Civil <br />Service Commission. <br />IV. OLD BUSINESS: <br />Entry -Level Patrol Officer Eligible List <br />General discussion commenced regarding the Entry -Level Patrol Officer Eligible List. Candidates <br />original rank 43 and #8 will be removed from the eligible list due to failure of pre-employment <br />testing and voluntary removal. The Commission certified Candidates original ranking #13 and #14 <br />to the eligible list. <br />Motion by Commissioner Brake, seconded by Commissioner Campbell, to amend the Entry -Level <br />Patrol Officer Eligible list as stated above. <br />Motion passed unanimously. <br />Lateral Patrol Officer Eligible hist <br />General discussion commenced regarding the Lateral Patrol Officer Eligible List. Candidates <br />original rank #2, #5, #12, #13 and 430 will be removed from the eligible list due to failure of pre- <br />employment testing, failed background check, and voluntary removals. l'he Commission certified <br />Candidates original ranking #32, #33, #34, #35 and #36 to the eligible list. <br />Motion by Commissioner Brake, seconded by Commissioner Campbell, to amend the Lateral Patrol <br />Officer Eligible list as stated above to fulfill the pool requirement. <br />Motion passed unanimously. <br />
