PLANNING & DESIGN COMMISSION <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />MEETING MINUTES OF MAY 10, 2023 <br />ROLL CALL <br />Ms. Hemann called the meeting to order at 7:03 p.m. <br />Present: Tom Patton, Mary Ellen Hemann. Humberto Olivos, Jose Leon <br />Staff. Economic & Community Development Director Max Upton, Assistant Law- Director <br />Bryan O'Malley, Safety Director Jennifer Scofield, Administrative Assistant Lyn Wilson. <br />Mr. Patton motioned, seconded by Mr. Olivos to nominate Ms. Hemann as chairperson for the <br />current meeting. Motion Passed: 4-0 <br />REVIEW AND CORRECTION OF MINUTES <br />Planning & Design Commission minutes of February 8. 2023, April 12 and 26. 2023 were <br />approved as submitted. Motion made to approve minutes as submitted made by Ms. Hemann <br />seconded by Mr. Olivos: all were in favor. <br />NEW BUSINESS <br />23-24148; 24549 Lorain Road; Found Soul Tattoo/Pablo Gonzalez <br />Representative; Pablo Gonzalez. 473 North Pointe Blvd. Amherst, Ohio 44001 <br />Mr. Upton explained the case was for a conditional use permit. and went on further to clarify <br />there were two conditions on which a conditional use permit is granted. The first referred to the <br />distance between lot lines and the second was specific to the size of the building in which the <br />shop would be opened. It was determined the shop met those requirements and the staff <br />recommended approval by the Planning Commission. Ms. Hemann explained to the applicant <br />what that meant. <br />Mr. Olivos motioned; seconded by Mr. Leon to recommend approval for the conditional use <br />permit. <br />Motion Passed: 4-0 <br />2023-52; Amend Section 1118.13 Offices and Services <br />An ordinance Amending Section 1118.13 of the Planning and Zoning Code of the Codified <br />Ordinances of the City of North Olmsted entitled, "Offices and Services", in order to establish <br />Subsection (F) to limit the location of specified uses. <br />2023-53; Amend Section 1115.12 Establishing the definition of "Unregulated Psychoactive <br />Substances" <br />
