Director Max Upton, Building Coordinator Katie Seeley, Law Director Michael Gareau, <br />Administrative Assistant Lyn Wilson <br />MEETING MINUTES <br />The meeting minutes of June 3, 2024 were approved; all in favor none opposed. <br />81-2024; Savers; 26035 Lorain Road <br />Mr. Rahm motioned to table 81-2024; Savers; 26035 Lorain Road to the next meeting; seconded <br />by Mr. Kovach; all in favor, none opposed. <br />RESIDENTIAL REQUESTS <br />89-2024; David Broz; 3225 Walter Rd <br />Representative: David Broz <br />The project involved building a new shed with a 10 square foot variance for its size. The code <br />allowed for 150 square feet, but the applicant showed 160 square feet for the proposed shed. The <br />lot size was 17,400 square feet The applicant mentioned needing the extra space to park a car in <br />the garage and had no objections from neighbors. The existing shed has already been removed <br />and it was clarified that 10x16 was a standard shed size. <br />Mr. Rahm motioned to approve 89-2024; David Broz; 3225 Walter Road; seconded by Mr. <br />Kovach. <br />Motion passed: 5-0 <br />92-2024; Ernest Szczepanski; 23960 Noreen Dr. <br />Representative: Ernest and Cheryl Szczepanski <br />The project involved concrete patios with a request for a 13% variance for excessive rear yard lot <br />coverage. The code permitted up to 20%, or 900 square feet, based on a 4,500 square foot rear <br />yard, but the applicant proposed 33%, or 1,480 square feet.
