LANDMARKS COMMISSION <br /> CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br /> MINUTES OF JUNE 13,2022 <br /> ROLL CALL <br /> Mr.Neville called the meeting to order at 7:00 pm via online meeting. <br /> Present: David Neville, David Anderson, Tom Dubowski, James Gearhart, Gretchen Schuler, <br /> Duane Limpert,Elizabeth Kukwa(Cardarelli) <br /> Absent: Jim Morse, Sarah Egan-Reeves <br /> Staff City Planner Nahid Parsipour <br /> Mr.Limpert moved,seconded by Mr.Dubowski, to excuse the absences of Mr. Morse and <br /> Ms.Egan-Reeves,motion passed 7-0. <br /> REVIEW AND APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br /> Ms. Schuler moved, seconded by Mr. Dubowski, to approve the Landmarks Commission <br /> minutes of May 09,2022,motion passed 7-0. <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> 22-21993;Alexander Bravo;25780 Butternut Ridge Road <br /> Representatives:Alexandra.Bravo(the applicant),25780 Butternut Ridge Road. <br /> Mr. Bravo explained that there was a tree near their broken concrete that caused it to lift up,and <br /> they want to repair it. They also intend to install a turn-around pad. Mr. Neville stated that the <br /> pads dimensions are 20*18,which is the maximum allowed by City ordinance. <br /> There were no comments from committee on this modification. <br /> Ms. Schuler moved, seconded by Mr. Dubowski, to approve the Certificate of <br /> Appropriateness for a turnaround parking pad for 22-21993; Alexander Bravo; 25780 <br /> Butternut Ridge Road,motion passed 7-0. <br /> OLD BUSINESS <br /> Springvale Ballroom Landmark Designation <br /> Ms. Schuler stated that Ms. Egan-Reeves put everything together for Springvale Ballroom <br /> Landmark Designation draft,and then it goes through the Planning and Design Commission,and <br /> finally goes through the Council review in the Fall. She asked everybody who has any comments <br /> to send her the comment by next week <br /> Mr. Limpert moved, seconded by Ms. Kukwa, to approve the Springvale Ballroom <br /> Landmark Designation with the exceptional grammatical errors or typos that would be <br /> corrected and the complete and corrected draft get back to all members to review it. <br />
