LANDMARKS COMMISSION - <br /> CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br /> MINUTES OF AUGUST 14,2023 <br /> 7:00 PM <br /> Mr.Neville called the meeting to order at 7:00 PM via an online meeting. <br /> Present David Neville,Tom Dubowski,Jim Morse,James Gearhart,Duane Limpert <br /> Absent: Elizabeth Kukwa,Gretchen Schuler, Sarah Egan-Reeves <br /> Staff: City Planner Nahid Parsipour <br /> Mr.Gearhart moved,seconded by Mr.Limpert,to excuse the absences of Ms.Kukwa,Ms. <br /> Schuler,and Ms.Egan-Reeves.The motion passed 5-0. <br /> REVIEW AND APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br /> Mr. Dubowski moved,seconded by Mr. Limpert,to approve the June 12,2023 Landmarks <br /> Commission minutes.The motion was approved 5-0. <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> 23-24779; Nancy Clark; 26885 Butternut Ridge Road • <br /> Proposal consists of taking down an existing fence and installing a 169 LF of 6'H white <br /> Hamilton(Vinyl) <br /> Nancy Clark,a resident, presented her request to replace a chain-link fence with a vinyl privacy <br /> fence on her property. The existing fence was described as running from north to south, with a <br /> partial section and a gate. She clarified that the purpose of the fence was to enhance privacy and <br /> address issues with neighboring properties. The discussion focused on the fence's visibility from <br /> the street,alignment with the property boundaries,and the results of a recent property survey.Ms. <br /> Clark explained that the proposed vinyl fence would replace a chain-link fence on one side of her- <br /> property,offering better privacy and aesthetics. <br /> Members of the Commission inquired about the fence's visibility and alignment. Ms. Clark <br /> indicated that the vinyl fence would mostly be seen from her property, with minimal visibility <br /> from the street.
