CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2005 - 191 <br />BY: Mayor O'Grady <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ENTER <br />INTO A CONTRACT WITH ARROW UNIFORM RENTAL <br />LIMITED PARTNERSHIP TO PROVIDE UNIFORM RENTAL <br />SERVICES TO THE CITY'S WASTEWATER TREATMENT <br />EMPLOYEES, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, the City, per its collective bargaining agreement with the City's <br />Service workers, is required to provide uniforms to employees who so request; and <br />WHEREAS, the Superintendent of the Wastewater Treatment Plant has had <br />requests for uniform service from Wastewater Treatment employees and, after obtaining <br />quotes from three prospective vendors, recommends that the City enter into a contract <br />with Arrow Uniform Rental Limited Partnership ( "Arrow Uniform "), a Michigan limited <br />partnership authorized to conduct business in the State of Ohio, to provide such requested <br />service; and <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council, acting upon the said <br />recommendation, to authorize the Mayor to enter into a contract with Arrow Uniform to <br />provide said services to the City; <br />NO W, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOL VED B Y THE CO UNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Mayor be and he hereby is authorized enter into a contract <br />with Arrow Uniform Rental Limited Partnership to provide uniform rental services to the <br />City's Wastewater Treatment employees. Said contract shall be in the form of the <br />document entitled "Arrow Uniform Service Agreement," marked as Exhibit A, and <br />attached hereto, with only such changes to said contract to be hereinafter made as are not <br />substantially adverse to the City and which are approved by the Director of Law. The <br />character of any such changes as not being substantially adverse to the City shall be <br />evidenced conclusively by the execution of the agreements by the Mayor and the approval <br />of the agreements by the Director of Law. <br />SECTON 2: Said contract shall specifically provide that expenditures pursuant <br />to it shall not exceed Twenty -Five Thousand Dollars ($25,000.00), the maximum <br />expenditure that may be legally made for such services without competitive bidding. <br />
