<br />RESOLUTION NO. 2005 -189
<br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO A
<br />LEASE, OR AMENDED LEASE, WITH DOLLAR LEASING CORP.,
<br />FOR THE PURPOSE OF SUPPLYING A NEW COPY MACHINE
<br />FOR THE CITY HALL MAILROOM, AND DECLARING AN
<br />EMERGENCY.
<br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution 2004 -27, adopted by this Council on May 4,
<br />2004, the Director of Public Service advertised for bids for the lease of six (6) new copy
<br />machines at City Hall; and
<br />WHEREAS, as a result of said bidding and subsequent re- evaluation of the City's
<br />needs at that time, the Board of Control awarded a contract to ImagePro, Ltd., as the
<br />lowest and best bidder, to provide four (4) copy machines to City Hall, and a lease was
<br />thereafter entered into with ImagePro's lending agent, Dollar Leasing Corp, for said four
<br />(4) copy machines; and
<br />WHEREAS, the City's current lease of a fifth copy machine, which is located in
<br />the City Hall mailroom, is scheduled to expire on December 31, 2005; and
<br />WHEREAS, it is the recommendation of the Director of Public Service that the
<br />City enter into a new lease, or amended lease, with Dollar Leasing Corp. to lease a new
<br />copy machine for the City Hall mailroom, at the same price, and upon the same terms and
<br />conditions, as was reflected in the bid of ImagePro, Ltd., previously submitted to the City
<br />and the subject of the contract award by the Board of Control; and
<br />WHEREAS, it is accordingly the desire of this Council, based upon the
<br />recommendation of the Director of Public Service, to authorize the Mayor to enter into a
<br />new lease, or an amended lease, with Dollar Leasing Corp. to provide for the lease of a
<br />fifth copy machine to be located in the City Hall mailroom at said same price, and upon
<br />said same terms and conditions;
<br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOL VED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
<br />OF NORTH OLMSTED, CUYAHOGA COUNTY, AND STATE OF OHIO:
<br />SECTION 1: That the Mayor be and he is hereby authorized to enter into a lease,
<br />or amended lease, with Dollar Leasing Corp., providing for ImagePro, Ltd., to supply the
<br />City with a fifth copy machine, to be located in the City Hall mailroom, at a price, and on
<br />terms and conditions, that are consistent with the proposal of ImagePro, Ltd to the City,
<br />made in response to the City's advertisement for bids previously authorized by this
<br />Council in Resolution No. 2004 -27.
