CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2005 - 176 <br />BY: Council Members Ryan, Orlowski and Nashar <br />A RESOLUTION REQUESTING UTILITY COMPANIES TO TRY TO <br />TRIM TREES IN SUCH A WAY AS TO FIT INTO THEIR NATURAL <br />SETTING. <br />WHEREAS, the City of North Olmsted has been historically known as the <br />"City of Trees "; and <br />WHEREAS, it has been noted over the past few years that utility companies, in <br />order to clear lines, have engaged in trimming of trees in a manner that appears to have <br />not taken time and interest in the overall appearance of the tree. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF NORTH OLMSTED, CUYAHOGA COUNTY, AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: It is the desire of this Council to request utility companies to take <br />an interest in the overall appearance of the trees while in the process of trimming them to <br />clear utility lines. <br />SECTION 2: This Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after the <br />earliest time permitted by law. <br />PASSED: 3 a ood <br />AT: <br />SEMAN <br />Clerk of Council <br />APPROVED: —/ A/ <br />Q <br />MAYOR THOMAS E.
