Resolution No. 2005 -145 <br />SECTION 2: That this Council does, in accordance with the rules and requirements for <br />CDBG applications, in order to satisfy any and all prerequisites to qualify the same, hereby <br />authorize and direct the Director of Planning to coordinate with the Director of Human <br />Resources, Director of Public Safety and the Director of Public Services, as may be necessary, to <br />develop the said project proposal so as to meet and/or exceed the CDBG Application standards, <br />and for the latter Directors to provide any and all necessary information and assistance to the <br />Director of Planning in establishing, documenting, and fulfilling the CDBG application <br />specifications for the said project proposal. <br />SECTION 3: That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety, and welfare, and for the <br />further reason it is necessary that this legislation go into effect immediately in order that the City <br />may make a timely application for Community Development Block Grant funds on or before <br />November 18, 2005, and further, provided it receives the affirmative vote of two - thirds of all <br />members of the Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage and <br />approval by the Mayor. �1 <br />PASSED: <br />ATTEST.• <br />F' <br />ARA L.
