Resolution No. 2005 -125 <br />SECTION 1: That all departments, offices, and agencies of the City of North Olmsted shall utilize <br />the Incident Management System prescribed by the Department of Homeland Security, as implemented by <br />the Department of Justice Affairs, Emergency Services Division. <br />SECTION 2: That the Director of Public Safety shall determine the timetable and steps necessary <br />for the expedient implementation of this Resolution. <br />SECTION 3: That all appropriate City employees will begin training on NIMS and adhere to the <br />revised Cuyahoga County Emergency Operations Plan as soon as practicable. <br />SECTION 4: That the Clerk of Council be, and she is, hereby instructed to transmit a copy of this <br />Resolution to Steven Terry, Director, Department of Justice Affairs; and one copy to Murray W. Withrow, <br />Manager, Emergency Services Division. <br />SECTION 5: That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure immediately <br />necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and welfare and for the further reason that it is <br />necessary that this legislation go into effect immediately so that the City's Safety Forces may begin <br />receiving vital training at the earliest possible date; and further provided that it receives the affirmative vote <br />of two - thirds of all members of Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage <br />and approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED: (4t4ttd/ (p 2003 <br />ATT T: <br />BARBARA L.
