CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2005 - 102 <br />BY: Mayor O'Grady <br />A RESOLUTION A UTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC SAFETY <br />TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR THE REPLACEMENT OF THE HVAC <br />SYSTEM FOR THE INDOOR TENNIS FACILITY AT THE RECREATION <br />COMPLEX, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR, SUBJECT TO <br />APPROVAL BY THE BOARD OF CONTROL, IF NECESSARY, TO ENTER <br />INTO A CONTRACT FOR SAME WITH THE LOWEST AND BEST <br />BIDDER. <br />WHEREAS, specifications have been prepared and are on file in the office of the <br />Director of Public Safety for soliciting bids for the replacement of the HVAC system for the <br />indoor tennis facility at the Recreation Complex; and <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to authorize the Director of Public Safety to <br />advertise for bids in accordance with said specifications on file, and to further authorize the <br />Mayor, upon approval of the Board of Control, if necessary, to enter into a contract with the <br />lowest and best bidder; <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED, CUYAHOGA COUNTY, AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Director of Public Safety be and he is hereby authorized to <br />advertise for bids for the replacement of the HVAC system for the indoor tennis facility at the <br />Recreation Complex, in accordance with the plans and specifications now on file in his office, <br />and further that, upon approval by the Board of Control, if necessary, the Mayor is hereby <br />authorized, on behalf of the City of North Olmsted, to enter into a contract and execute same with <br />the lowest and beset bidder. <br />SECTION 2: That this Resolution shall take effect and be in force from and after the <br />earliest period allowed by law. <br />i <br />1 <br />PASSED: <br />A ST. <br />(BARBARA L.
