0 <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE NO. 2005 — 87 <br />By: Mayor O'Grady <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ORGANIZATIONAL <br />CHART OF THE ENGINEERING DIVISION OF THE <br />DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC SERVICE FOR THE PURPOSE OF <br />ADDING TWO SEASONAL ENGINEERING INSPECTOR <br />POSITIONS, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, there exists a temporary need in the Department of Public Service to provide <br />seasonal inspection support to the Engineering Division during the construction season; and <br />WHEREAS, it is the recommendation of the Director of Public Service that two seasonal <br />Engineering Inspector positions be added to the Organizational Chart of the Engineering Division <br />in order to address the seasonal need for engineering inspections during the construction season; and <br />WHEREAS, the Director of Public Safety also recommends that the said Organizational <br />Chart also be amended to formally recognize and incorporate the existence of the part-time positions <br />of Back -up Electrical Inspector and Back -up Plumbing Inspector in the Building Division; and <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council, accordingly, to add two seasonal Engineering <br />Inspector positions to the Organizational Chart of Engineering Division; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Organizational Chart for the Engineering Division of the City of <br />North Olmsted shall be amended to add two seasonal Engineering Inspection positions. Said <br />seasonal employees shall be hired by the Director of Public Service, shall be supervised by the City <br />Engineer, and may be employed by the City of North Olmsted only during the period June 1 through <br />August 31 of each year. <br />SECTION 2: Said seasonal employees shall receive compensation at the rate of Ten Dollars <br />($10.00) per hour. <br />SECTION 3: That all Ordinances or resolutions or parts of ordinances or resolutions that <br />are in conflict or inconsistent with this Ordinance are, to the extent of such conflict or inconsistency, <br />hereby repealed. <br />
