Page 2 CSLP Agreement <br />periods. The Agency also acknowledges that students must maintain a minimum of six academic credit hours. Any student in <br />violation of these requirements is subject to loss of eligibility under federal regulations. <br />7. The Agency shall issue all paychecks to the student in a pre - determined, timely and regular manner, and shall have sole <br />responsibility for the payment of all time worked over and above the Federal Work Study award amount authorized by the <br />University. Such payments over and above the work award amount shall not be reimbursed by the University. The Agency will <br />be responsible for the withholding of all pertinent taxes. The Agency will provide a W -2 statement to the student for all hours <br />worked. The W -2 must reflect total compensation and taxes withheld. <br />8. The Agency agrees that no student will be denied work or subjected to different treatment under this Agreement on the <br />grounds of race, color, religion, national origin, disability, handicap, disabled veteran status, Vietnam era veteran status, or gender. <br />It further agrees that it will comply with the provisions of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (Pub. L. 88 -352) and Title IX of the <br />Education Amendments of 1972 (Pub. L. 92 -318) and the regulations which implement those Acts, as well as applicable <br />provisions of the Americans with Disabilities Act (Pub. L. 101 -336) and any implementing regulations for that Act. <br />9. The Agency represents that the work for which the students will be used would not otherwise be provided and will not <br />result in the displacement of employed workers, nor impair existing contracts for services. The Agency also represents that the <br />student's work will be directly related to the Community Services performed by the Agency. <br />10. The Agency will insure, at the Agency's expense, said student(s) under Worker's Compensation statutes of Ohio. <br />11. The University shall have no responsibility for any liability to third parties due to the acts or omissions of students while <br />in the performance of duties under the direction and control of the Agency. <br />12. This agreement may be terminated by either party on thirty (30) days written notice. <br />13. Students may be removed from work on a particular assignment or from the Agency by the University, either on its own <br />initiative or at the request of the Agency. Written notice will be provided, and unless the student becomes ineligible because of <br />Federal law, at least seven (7) days notice will be provided. <br />14. Transportation for students to and from work assignments will not be provided by either the University or the Agency. <br />15.
