CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED RESOLUTION NO. 2005 - 14 BY: Mayor Musial Try.. A RESOL UTION A UTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO A RENEWED MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING WITH THE CUYAHOGA SOIL AND WATER CONSERVATION DISTRICT TO PROVIDE ASSISTANCE TO THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED WITH THE PUBLIC EDUCATION AND PUBLIC PARTICIPATION MEASURES FOR ITS EPA PHASE H STORM WATER PROGRAM, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY WHEREAS, the City has previously entered into a Memorandum of Understanding with the Cuyahoga Soil and Water Conservation District, which is due to expire on December 31, 2004; and WHEREAS, the Engineering Department desires to continue to promote and participate in activities such as the Rocky River Cleanup Day which will be held on May 14, 2005. Coordination for this event will be required several weeks prior to May 24, 2005; and WHEREAS, this Council desires to enter into a renewed Memorandum of Understanding with the Cuyahoga Soil and Water Conservation District to provide assistance to the City with the public education and public participation measures for its EPA Phase II Storm Water Program. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, CUYAHOGA COUNTY, AND STATE OF OHIO: SECTION 1: That the Mayor be and is hereby authorized to enter into a renewed Memorandum of Understanding with the Cuyahoga Soil and Water Conservation District to provide assistance to the City with the public education and public participation measures for its EPA Phase II Storm Water Program, a copy of which is attached hereto as Exhibit "A" and incorporated herein by reference, which is in all respects hereby approved. SECTION 2: That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and welfare, and for the reason that it is necessary that this Resolution go into effect immediately so as to continue the provision of service without interruption and to be able
