<br />7 <br />901.02 ISSUANCE REQUIREMENTS. <br />No such permit shall be issued until: <br />(a) The applicant shall have made the deposit referred to in Section 901.01 ar 901.07 <br />Such permit shall state the exact time the opening or excavation is to be made, the <br />probable length of time for doing the work and the making of the repair, the <br />character of the pavement, including its base, and the character of the work <br />necessary for the satisfactory repairing or relaying of the roadway. <br />(b) The applicant i^'tiai„? a pu'^'i^ u+i'it" " y, shall have submitted a policy ar <br />policies of liability or indemnity insurance issued by companies licensed to do <br />business in the State, recognizing the City as an insured, in a total amount of not <br />less than five hundred thousand dollars/one million dollars ($500,0001$1,000,000) <br />for any personal injury or injuries incurred and two hundred thousand dollars <br />($200,000) for any property damage caused as a result or consequence of the <br />making or existence of such opening or excavation, or the condition of the road, <br />street, sidewalk, tree lawn or other public property in which the same is or has <br />been made. <br />(Ord. 96-26. Passed 3-5-96.) <br />SECTION 2: That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and welfare, and further <br />for the reason that it is necessary that this Ordinance go into effect immediately due to the <br />persistent request for and installation of external storage receptacles or outdoor drop boxes; <br />further provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members of Council, it shall <br />take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED: c t? r1 ?-?"-? b? a C?C? ?
