4 <br />.? <br /> <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2007 - 125 <br />BY: Mayor O'Grady, <br />.?? <br />A RESOL UTION A UTHORIZI.NG THE MA YOR, ON BEHALF OF <br />THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, TO ENTER l1VT0 A eONTRACT <br />1WITH THE CITY OF WESTLAKE AND/OR HNTB CORPORATION <br />IN ORDER TO OBTAIN PROFESSIONAL SERVICES F'OR THE <br />PREPARATION OF A WATEX FEASIBI'I.ITY STUDY, AND <br />DECLARWG AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, the City of Westlake has entered into a contract with HNI'B <br />Corporation to provide professional services in the form of a regional water feasibility <br />study; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Westlake has invited the City of North Oimsted to <br />participate in the said regional water feasibility study; an(i <br />WHEItEAS, it the Mayor has requested that this Council authorize him, on behalf <br />of t1=e (.'ity of North Olmsted, to enter intc, a contraci with the City of Westlal.e andlor <br />HNTB Corporation, in order to participate in the Westlake regicnal water feaSibilit?' <br />study aitd accordingly expand the scope of the study to include the North c)lmsted <br />territorial area; and <br />WHEXEAS, it is the desire of this Council, actin? u??on the request of'the ilayor, <br />to so authorize the Mayor, on behalf of the Citv of North i)lmsted, to enter into thP said <br />contrac:r or contracts with the City of Westlake and/or HN'I'f3 Corporation; <br />NO?'Y A'HERf.FUXE, gE /T KF."'OL.VT!) The <br />contract sha11 be in a form and substance that is not substantially adverse to the City and <br />which is approved by the Director of Law.
