This treatment will lower the chance of human <br />exposure to LaCrosse Encephalitis(affects children) and West Nile Virus(affects all, <br />especially seniors). Larval treatment is the favored approach to reducing the potential of <br />mosquito-borne viruses. <br />This aerial application will be conducted in a similar process as experienced in the past. <br />The treatment will take a few days depending on the weather. The application typically <br />occurs in mid-late April depending on larval surveillance. <br />Enclosed is a Memorandum of Understanding betweeii the Board of Health and the City <br />of North Olmsted that in essence states that the Board of Health is orchestrating the <br />project from start to finish as it has ctone in the past and that the City of North Olmsted <br />wili be responsible for its portian of the payment to the vendor of the project. This copy <br />needs original signatures and needs to be returned to tlie Board of Health as sofln as <br />possible. If needed, a representative froin the Board of Health can pick up the completed <br />form. <br />Please contact me if you have any questions regarding this project.
