•• Section 4: That the salary for nonbargaining unit Secretary 1 and Secretary II full and part time positions shall <br />be determined by the Mayor, Director and/or Division Leader and be no greater than the highest step of the <br />collective bargaining agreement for the respective positions plus 2.5%; provided, however, that for the year <br />2007 only the said salaries shall not exceed the greater of the highest step of the collective bargaining <br />agreement in effect on January 1, 2007, for the respective positions plus 2.5% times 101 %, or the highest <br />step provided for any portion of the year 2007 in any subsequently negotiated collective bargaining agreement <br />for the respective positions plus 2.5%. The new salary ranges for the year 2007 for these nonbargaining unit <br />positions shall be retroactive to and in effect from January 1, 2007. <br />Section 5: That the following salary ranges are hereby established for legislative employees for the office of <br />Council.
