? <br />Ordinance No. 2007-72 <br />SECTION 2: That there be and hereby is created new Section 721.031 of <br />Chapter 721 of the Business Regulation Code, which, as created, shall read in its entirety <br />as set forth in new Chapter 721 of the Business Regulation Code (Peddlers, Solicitors, <br />and Temporary Businesses) attached to this Ordinance as Exhibit B and incorporated <br />herein by reference as if fully restated herein. <br />SECTION 3: That, in all other respects, the sections of Chapter 721 that are not <br />amended herein shall remain in full force and effect. <br />SECTION 4: That all ordinances or resolutions, or parts of ordinances or <br />resolutions, that are inconsistent or in conflict with the newly amended or newly created <br />sections of Chapter 721 are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency or conflict <br />only. <br />SECTION 5: That, if any section, paragraph, sentence, clause, phrase, term, <br />provision or part of this Ordinance, or Chapter 721, shall be adjudged by any court of <br />competent jurisdiction to be invalid or inoperative, such judgment shall not affect, impair <br />or invalidate the remainder thereof, but shall be confined in its operation to the section, <br />paragraph, sentence, clause, phrase, term, provision or part thereof directly involved in <br />the controversy in which such judgment shall have been rendered. <br />SECTION 6: That this Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after <br />the earliest period allowed by law. <br />PASSED: af S I tY <br />First Reading: 1 ?S1D 7 <br />Second Reading: l kT l0+ <br />Third Readi, : dl6le 1 Committee.
