Ordinance No. 2007-8 BE AMENDED, AND, AS AMENDED, SHALL READ AS FOLLOWS: "172.01 CREATION AND MEMBERSHIP. There is hereby created the North Olmsted Tax Incentive Review Council (hereinafter referred to as the "TIRC"), comprised of the following members: (a) The Mavor, or his/her designee ; (b) A member of Council apuointed bv the President of Council T-we , , 'l; (c) The Cuyahoga County Auditor or his/her designee; and (d) The Director of Finance, or his/her designee; (ed) One individual appointed jointly by the North Olmsted Board of Education and the Polaris Joint Vocational School District ; and M Two members of the public appointed by the Mayor with the concurrence of the Citv Council. At least four members of the TIRC shall be residents of the City of North Olmsted, and at least one of the two public members appointed by the Mayor shall be a minoritv. As used in this section, a"minority" is an individual who is African-American, Hispanic, or Native American. Notwithstanding the foregoing provisions , if a member of the North Olmsted Housing Council is appointed to membership on the TIRC, then his or her term on the TIRC shall expire on the same date that his/her term on the North Olmsted Housing Council expires. " SECTION 2: That Section 172.02 of Chapter 172 of the Administrative Code ("Tax Incentive Review Council"), which presently reads as follows: " 172.02 DUTIE5. (a) The President of City Council shall call the first meeting of the TIRC, and at that meeting the members of the TIRC shall select a chairman and vice- chairman. Thereafter, the TIRC shall meet at the call of the chairman. Attendance by a majority of the members of the TIRC constitutes a quorum to conduct business. (b) Annually, the TIRC shall review all agreements granting exemptions from property taxation under Ohio R.C. Chapter 725 or 1728 or under Ohio R.C. 3735.671, 5709.62, 5709.63, or 5709.632, or under Chapter 171 of the North Olmsted Codified Ordinances, and any performance or audit reports required to be submitted pursuant to those agreements. With respect to each agreement, as referenced in Section 171.06 of the North Olmsted Codified Ordinances and pursuant to state law, the TIRC shall 2 ?,..,?? . ..... ? . _ , _ .????. ? ._. . . . ? . -
